Based in Silicon Valley, we have firsthand knowledge of the men-dominated STEM fields. At girlSTEM, we hope to create a place where girls can thrive off of each other and can freely pursue their own interests. We offer complimentary monthly classes where girls (grades 4-8) from all over the world can take advantage of our resources and develop their interests. In these classes, we'll prepare girls for their futures in STEM through exploring science concepts through hands-on experiments, engaging in discussions about the current status quo for women in STEM, and learning about a diverse range of influential women in STEM to inspire each other and further our learning outside the classroom. Aside from these classes, we also post regularly on our Instagram account where we feature fun STEM memes, spotlight the wide-ranging work being done by women in STEM, and post ways STEM is shaping our world.
